The Center for Imaging and Biophotonics Experiments Advancing Medicine (CIBEAM) is an interdisciplinary laboratory at Utah Valley University, focusing on novel imaging modalities for early cancer detection. The lab supports three physics faculty and 25-35 students at any given time. Research projects are currently being conducted in high-frequency ultrasound (HFUS), Raman spectroscopy, acoustic shockwave therapy, coherent diffractive imaging (CDI), and digital holographic microscopy (DHM).
